XCamp2019: intensive, quality training on McCormick tractors

It’s called McCormick XCamp2019, and it’s the training event for dealers from all over Europe that Argo Tractors – the industrial group based in Fabbrico (RE), Italy – holds at its subsidiary AgriArgo Iberica in Villamarciel (Valladolid), Spain.

The two-day training programme for dealers and top European importers starts with an overview of the European Mother Regulation (covering both current and future requirements), continues with an in-depth presentation of all McCormick models along with specific sales training, and then concludes with a session where each tractor is compared with a competitor’s vehicle having similar characteristics both in the classroom and in hands-on tests in the field. At the end of the work sessions, participants share their analysis and comments and take a final test.

The McCormick tractors involved in the training are the six-cylinder models of the X8 VT-Drive, X7.6 VT-Drive and X7.6 P6-Drive series. The four-cylinder models of the X7.4 P6-Drive, X7.4 VT-Drive and X6.4 VT-Drive series will also be covered.

The courses are held by Argo Tractors personnel from the Marketing, R&D and Service departments. Furthermore, in order to give all participants a global view of the potential and competitive advantages of the McCormick models presented, specialists from Topcon, partner for GPS guidance systems, and the tyre manufacturer BKT offer presentations over the course of the days. The training sessions started mid-July and will continue until August 2nd.

McCormick XCamp 2019“, notes Antonio Salvaterra, Marketing Director of Argo Tractors, “is the result of a strongly rooted understanding in the Argo Tractors group that having highly qualified people is the first step to offering good service to its customers. That’s why we decided to offer complete, high quality training to sales specialists at the hospitable headquarters of our Spanish subsidiary AgriArgo Iberica, ensuring a full knowledge of our McCormick tractors“.
