In order to meet every need of our customers and offer top-rate service, it is essential to have highly skilled personnel. This is why we organised XCamp2019, a series of intensive quality training events dedicated to our sales network.

The training events last 2 days each and took place between July and August at the Spanish subsidiary AgriArgo Iberica in Villamarciel (Valladolid), which has become the venue for technical training, with its dedicated technical areas and 18 hectares of test fields.

A great training event for dealers and importers

For the 3 weeks from 15 July to 2 August, the Spanish subsidiary welcomed staff from dealers and importers from all over Europe: 3 sessions dedicated to dealers from all over Spain, 1 session dedicated to Italian dealers and 2 other sessions dedicated to importers from Bulgaria, Denmark, Lithuania, Moldova, Holland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia and Switzerland.

Several topics were covered during the training sessions, ranging from the new European regulations of the Mother Regulation to future prospects, and on to an in-depth presentation of McCormick’s high and medium power tractors. The reference models were the six-cylinder models from the X8 VT-Drive, X7.6 VT-Drive and X7.6 P6-Drive series, as well as the four-cylinder models from the X7.4 P6-Drive, X7.4 VT-Drive and X6.4 VT-Drive series.

Participants received specific training on sales activities, then left the classroom and moved on to practical field tests, gaining first-hand experience of the full potential and benefits of McCormick tractors.

At the end of each session, a final session dedicated to analysis and comments by the participants was held, followed by a final test.

The courses were divided according to the languages of participants and were held by Argo Tractors staff from the different areas of interest: technical service, marketing, research and development. Specialists from Topcon, the company that supplies GPS-assisted driving systems, and the tyre manufacturer BKT-tires also intervened to provide an all-round knowledge of McCormick tractors.
