The modern and efficient warehouse in San Martino in Rio, in the heart of the Motor Valley of the Emilia area, is the hub of our Spare Parts and Logistics business.

More than 20 years of implementations and optimisations have led to increasing automation and digitalisation of the system, which today fully meets all the needs of farmers and contractors.

From an initial phase of receiving goods only, we have reached a complete and integrated automation of the spare parts flow within the production and service processes of Argo Tractors.

The digitised receiving, classification and storage process of incoming materials has been put in place with the automated management of stock verification and control procedures. Thus guaranteeing real-time control and swift processing of orders.

Strengths: qualified staff and comprehensive catalogue

The competence of our technicians and the promptness of our response allow us to guarantee maximum support to our customers. We can rely on:

  1. a highly specialised and ever-present workforce that can make a real difference: a total of 100 employees, including 60 staff members for collecting and shipping goods and 40 commercial, administrative, technical and logistics employees.
  2. A new Argo Parts catalogue, which allows our dealers to order directly online. The catalogue includes 150,000 products always available in stock, an assortment that is completed by the 11 million articles available on the Argo-Tech portal, thanks to the partnership with the German Fricke group

The challenges of the pandemic: smooth efficiency

In a delicate moment such as the one faced last spring during the health emergency, an efficient and organised logistics department was able to meet the needs of customers even in extraordinary difficult situations.

Despite being forced to operate with a reduced number of personnel and in compliance with the strict health regulations in place, the Argo Tractors assistance and spare parts service always managed to promptly respond to the requests from the McCormick dealer network, while at the same time maintaining its normal performance levels.

This has been made possible, of course, by the many investments we have made in digitalisation over the years, but also by the constant presence of specialised staff dedicated to spare parts.
