Our tractors finished the driving around of Escarpment, arriving to the place that they would have reached passing through Lesotho: Underberg. Here, in the afternoon, Xtractor crew meets the local McCormick dealer and the local community. The road through Lesotho that arrives here, passes from Sani Pass. So the team decides to drive up the road with our pick-ups. The road to the pass was built in the Fifties to link Lesotho with KwaZulu-Natal but can be driven only with a 4×4. It starts from 1300m, reaching 2876m at the pass. Sani Pass is the only pass of the entire Escarpment.
